Review: Befine Exfoliating Cleanser

OMG, this stuff is amazing! I was hesitate to try this in the beginning since my skin is very dry and sensitive. I always have to be careful with exfoliating, cause most of the time I end up with a red irritated face! But this cleanser is amazing, not that I don´t end up with an irritated face but it also evens out my skin tone!!! So far my skin is smooth without any breakouts, let´s hope it stays like that:) Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this cleanser and I will purchase it for sure whenever I ran out of this one.
This is what the Birchbox site says about this cleanser:
Finding an exfoliator that’s effective without irritating your face is a bit like trying to find a needle in a haystack (and a scratchy haystack at that). This two-in-one product has gentle beads that first slough away dead skin cells and then melt into a creamy cleanser. It’s ideal for anyone who has sensitive skin or who simply wants to exfoliate every day.
Natural brown sugar beads slough away dead skin. Because they dissolve as you scrub, there’s no danger of overdoing it. At the same time, sweet almond oil, oat protein, and ginger root extract work to soothe and hydrate skin.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer them:)

Dry Skin Saver! Olivella:)

So my skin is pretty dry right now, to be honest I can´t remember the last time when it was that dry!
Absolutely nothing helped to get my skin nourished, even a night time cream, which is usually pretty heavy, didn't do the job for me, it just sank into my skin immediately and left my skin with a tight face!
Well, I decided to do more research since I heard that good oils suppose to be great for your skin, and this is what I stumbled about Olivella!

I am using this olive oil based moisturizer for almost a week now and it helped a lot with leaving my skin well nourished all day.
I am surprised that it doesn't leave my skin too shiny or greasy at all, it just soaks in within 5 min leaving my skin perfectly ready for make up. The best part about this moisturizer is though that for some reason it manages to even out my skin tone. Usually when I apply moisturizer my skin gets red patches in some areas which you can sometimes even see through my make up, but not with this moisturizer! That´s pretty amazing for me! I will definitely repurchase again and again:)

Current Obsession: Fingerless Gloves

I bought these gloves about 2 weeks ago at a local store on sale for about $8. I needed some, as it is still cold where I live, and they were inexpensive. I am that kind of person who always has freezing cold hands no matter what, so this little guys are my lifesaver for the wintertime:)
I am obsessed with them, so comfy and warm and just a nice accessory to the whole outfit. I got those along with 2 other pair which I love as well. I prefer them to regular gloves for driving, running, anything where you want some dexterity and palm warmth.
These gloves do the job!

Dupe for Mac Stereo Rose? Maybe!

Lately I got a chance to swap for Mac Stereo Rose, still can´t believe it!
There has been a lot of hype for the Stereo Rose and I absolutely understand why.
It´s the right mix of pink and coral with the perfect amount of highlighter to create that perfect glow on your cheeks. No chunky glitter here, which I love!

I also had a chance to swap for Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit, another beautiful color and shockingly very similar to Mac Stereo Rose!

Not really the same in the pot, but the swatches on my hand do look very similar.

with flash L-R: Mac Stereo Rose - Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit

without flash L-R: Mac Stereo Rose - Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit

Pink Grapefruit has just a hint more of pink than Stereo Rose, but overall it´s very similar and has the same glow!

In my opinion if you can´t get your hands on the Stereo Rose just go with the Pink Grapefruit and definitely don´t spend $60 on ebay, that´s just insane!!!

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free

I have been using these products for 2 weeks now before I decided to write a proper review.
I don't like wearing heavy full coverage foundation every day. That´s more for going out purposes for me or when my hormones break me out once a month, that´s when I tend to grab more for my MUFE HD foundation.
I have combination skin, which means in my case, really dry in the winter time and normal with oily T-zone in the summer.
Right now my skin is so dry that I even prefer to use this tinted moisturizer with my regular moisturizer to keep my skin in balance. But it also works fine on it´s own when my skin isn´t so dry. The look is dewy and natural. Never cakey!
I was really surprised how easy it goes on and blends in with my skin and even more surprised how well it covers imperfections and evens out my pores, I could not ask for more!!!

Since I could not decide which shade will suit me best, I got nude and bisque. I am actually happy that I got both! For me, nude is more the perfect shade for the winter time or when I don´t tan, where bisque will be gorgeous for the summer when I get more tanned or use self tanner. Beside that, I don´t even see a huge difference between nude and bisque to be honest anyways:)
I just look more sun kissed when applied bisque, which I really love!
I also got the primer which is fantastic, especially for dry skin. When using the tinted moisturizer with this primer I can easily skip my regular moisturizer.
Usually I tend to wear the tinted moisturizer with the primer whenever I am outside and just with my regular moisturizer if I stay home or I am not exposed to the sun.
(please keep in mind that my hands are always lighter than the rest of my body, can´t even tell you how often I wash them with a toddler around:)

Here are both shades: L-R nude and bisque

and here they are blended: L-R nude and bisque

I am very pleased with this product and will definitely purchase again. If you have normal-dry skin I'd mix it with a little of your moisturizer or even try on it´s own.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by this product!

Yes to Cucumber!

I recently bought the Yes To Cucumber Facial Towelettes and I am absolutely in love with them.
I have used the Neutrogena makeup wipes before but there is just no comparison between those two.
After using the Neutrogena wipes I had always this feeling to be left with a greasy residue behind,
but not with the Yes to Cucumber Facial Towelettes! My skin just feels fresh and clean without any residue but also without any tightness. I have combination skin with some really dry areas but also oily parts around my T-zone and these wipes take care of both those problems.
If you have sensitive combination skin I would really recommend giving this brand a go, you won´t be disappointed!

Next on my list is the Yes to Carrots Makeup Removing Cleanser and their Yes to Carrots Day Moisturizer with SPF 15, since it´s getting more into winter time I definitely need a good Moisturizer.
I am so tempted to try all of their products at once, but let´s take one step at a time:)

You can find all products within the Yes To Carrots brand at numerous drugstores like Target, just click here for a complete list of stores Here

Birchbox

After seeing all those great reviews on the Birchbox I finally had to sign up and subscribe.
Birchbox is a subscription service that sends deluxe samples from high end beauty brands right to your home. That way you can first try if you like some product without wasting your money on a full size.
I love this idea, since I am all for trying out new things this comes right down from heaven to me:)
You can subscribe either for $10/month or $110/year to receive your 4-5 deluxe samples.
Along with that you can also earn points while referring friends or answering surveys, if you have enough points collected you can redeem them in products or another subscription. That is cool!

I heard about birchbox on youtube from missglamorazzi for the first time. I am usually very skeptical about those kind of things, but her review was very helpful to give it a go.
I can tell you I can´t wait to get my hands on my first birchbox. It´s like having Christmas every month:)

Talk to you soon when my first birchbox arrives!!!

NOTD

Let me introduce you to Essies Sew Psyched
(Fall Into Fashion 2010)
I have this nail polish for about 2 weeks now and I did´t like it at first, but after 2 days on my nails I kinda started loving it. It´s a dusty shade of khaki with silver, altho the silver shimmer is nearly invisible, but it gives depth to this polish. I prefer just one coat to keep it more muted and it´s perfect!
I can wear it for about 4 days without chipping and you have to keep in mind that I am all day around the house with my son  cooking, playing and cleaning, so that´s not bad.
I think Sew Psyched is special, you either love it or hate it!

New Boots

I went to Marshalls the other day without even any purpose to buy boots. But as soon as I saw these I had to have them! And the price was unbeatable too, they were just $20! They are also available in black.
I think they have the perfect length for boots, well that might be just me, but I love the fact that they are just in between. I would mostly wear them with a long cardigan and skinny jeans but there are a lot of options.
I haven´t had the chance to wear them yet, since it´s still way to warm here, but I hope that will change soon.
But from walking in them at home I can already tell that they are incredibly comfortable:)

What would you pair those boots with?
